ASPMultiChat .NET is a HTML chat software. It's compatible with the most popular modern browsers like Internet Explorer 5.5+, Netscape Navigator 6+, Opera 7+. No client-side Java-applets, Plug-ins or ActiveX needed. Server-side part of software is written in C#. Client-side part written in Java Script and uses DHTML features of browser. Client-side scripts use sofisticated algorithm to provide continues, non-flickering refresh of chat board. ASPMultiChat can work as standalone system or be incorporated into an existing ASP.NET application (either C# or VB). Relational database is used to store user properties. To provide very quick response, all short-term data is buffered in variables whenever it possible.
